Neubert Aero Corp. Awarded United States Air Force Contract to provide C-130 Ramp Removal Device
April 12, 2008 - Neubert Aero Corp. (NAC), was awarded another contract today for delivery of its newest support device, the C-130 Ramp Removal Platform (ARRP) to the 40th Airlift Squadron, Dyess AFB, Texas. The ARRP lifting device is manufactured by NAC Dynamics LLC in Clearwater, Florida.
The new Aircraft Ramp Removal Platform device uses multiple cushioning support pads to support the weight of the ramp door reducing load bearing shifts during maintenance inspection phase. Prior to the introduction of the ARRP, maintenance staff used cumbersome and unsafe wooden blocks and/or forklift tractor arms in removing the door necessary for aircraft structural inspection. With the NAC’s special stable lift design, service technicians can remove the ramp safely either in the field or in the maintenance hangar. Other aircraft configurations are available.
