Neubert Aero Corp. Celebrates 10th Year Anniversary at AAAE Annual Conference with New F1 Air Race Team

April 22, 2008 - Neubert Aero Corp. (NAC) in Clearwater, Florida is celebrating its ten year anniversary!  In 1998, NAC sold its very first product, the NAC Runway Closure “X” Markings which is currently the standard marker in safely closing a runway to aircraft operations.  Over the past ten years, NAC has manufactured several types of airport safety products; low-profile plastic barricades, runway friction testers (DFT & DFD), military support equipment (ARRP), and GIS airfield mobile data collection technology (i-AIR®).  In addition, NAC provides runway friction testing services and other engineering consulting work to airports around the world. zipper07c.jpg

To commemorate NAC’s anniversary, business owner, pilot, and former airport executive, Tim Neubert, has established the “NAC Formula One Air Racing Team”. The team will compete in September at the 45th National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada. NAC purchased the last years Gold Place racing airplane, a modified Cassutt IIIM, which raced with a top speed of 242.275 mph placing second in 2007. Experienced race pilot, Kirk Murphy, will fly “Invictus” (Latin for “unconquered”), giving the team an excellent chance at a first place finish this year in the Formula One Racing Class.

To kick off the racing season and as medium for aviation professionals to learn more about Formula Air One Racing, the NAC Racing Team will exhibit the plane at the 80th Annual American Association of Airport Executive Conference & Exposition in New Orleans, June 8-11, 2008.  Tim Neubert, NAC President said, “We are very excited about competing this year in Reno with the new racer and team we have put together.  It is even more exciting to have the opportunity to exhibit at this years AAAE Annual conference and to share our accomplishment of supporting airports for the past 10 years.”

NAC is a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, and provides quality safety products and services to airports around the world.
